Advisory services to access funding
A current priority of both Australian and NSW governments is to increase the skill level of the working age population and keep up with skills demands that are being placed on the Australian economy, industry sectors and its workers.
As part of the various policy initiatives developed to drive this priority, significant funding opportunities may be available for businesses to support and sustain business growth through investing in skills development of their workers. These opportunities can be particularly valuable in regional areas and for identified areas of skill shortages.
Funding contributions to employers are available across a wide range of industry and business sectors under programs such as the:
- Australian Apprenticeships system
- The national Productivity Places Program, and
- The NSW Strategic Skills Program
Accessing the right funding source to meet your business’s skill development needs can contribute up to 100% of training costs and may also provide additional incentives such as equipment or tool allowances to support the individual learner as well.
