The North Coast Institute is also accredited as a delivery
and assessment centre for City and Guilds (UK). This arrangement
provides an opportunity to offer a unique Commercial Cookery/Culinary
Arts Program, at our Kingscliff Campus. This program allows
students to achieve two major internationally recognised qualifications
in one year -
Certificate IV in Hospitality
(Commercial Cookery), TAFE NSW
Advanced Diploma in Culinary
Arts, City and Guilds (UK).

The Commercial Cookery/Culinary Arts Program uses innovative
and interactive learning methods to help students to realise
their full potential. The program is structured over 45
weeks, consisting of three 15 week semesters, from January
to December.
Students spend 40 hours per week participating in:

English language training is available at the North Coast
Institute's English Language Centre. Students can study

Austudy provides income support, on a non-competitive basis,

Students may apply for a work permit once they have commenced
