Winner - Student Achievement Award in the Business Faculty
Heidi stood out academically, completing the Advanced Diploma in Accounting at Distinction Grade, achieving the highest overall marks in the course at that campus, while completing it in the minimum two-year period.
All this was achieved coming from a non-English speaking background, while working part time and balancing the family commitments involved in marriage to a shift-working police officer and looking after a young child.
She is now working for a prominent local accounting firm and planning to obtain a degree and eventually become a CPA.
