2007 Apprentice of the Year
Sam Broomfield, from Corindi Beach, who received the Apprentice of the Year Award for his excellent results in the Certificate III in General Construction (Carpentry) in 2006.
Sam Broomfield excelled academically with nine Distinctions and eight Credits. He also showed advanced communication skills, natural leadership abilities and high levels of class and community participation. The judges said that ‘he had a very clear vision of career and life goals and communicated them admirably’.
