2008 Student Achievement Awards
THREE students from North Coast TAFE’s Kempsey Campus have won five of the top awards in this year’s North Coast TAFE Student Achievement Awards.
The awards recognise the efforts of top-performing students from across the institute’s 17 campuses, incorporating nearly 40,000 students.
Kempsey Campus' top automotive apprentice, Chris Isaac from Port Macquarie, took out the top title – Student of the Year – as well as Apprentice of the Year and the Construction and the Transport faculty award while business trainee Holly-Dee Baker, from Kempsey, won the Trainee of the Year Award.
Kempsey High School student, Stacey Clarke, was named the TVET Student of the Year.
A Lismore student, Anthony Franks, won the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Student of the Year Award for his studies in Certificate IV in Business Governance.
The Student Achievement Awards were announced at a special Awards dinner held at the Osprey Restaurant, at Coffs Harbour Education Campus on June 5, 2008.
