2008 Student of the Year
Automotive apprentice, Chris Isaac from Port Macquarie is North Coast TAFE's top student - in more ways than one.
He is our Student of the Year, Apprentice of the Year and the winner of the Construction and Transport Faculty Award.
He was awarded Student of the Year because he set an incredibly high standard, not just academically, but also in his passion, commitment, communication, ethics, and community involvement.
His teacher, Mike Brenton, said that in studying his Cetrtificate III in Automotive (Light Vehicles), Chris remained focused and was "unfazed by the challenges of studying and working - attributes which will undoubtedly set him up for a very bright future."
Chris now works for a luxury car dealership in Sydney.
