English Language program launched tomorrow

On Thursday, June 10, Mr. Rob Oakeshott, the Independent Member for Port Macquarie will be formally announcing the launch of a range of English Language courses now available at the new North Coast Institute English Language Centre, located at the Port Macquarie Campus. The Mayor, Mr. Rob Drew, and the Director of the North Coast Institute Business Development Unit, Mr. Peter Newman will also speak.

The launch ceremony will be conducted in the foyer outside Room GG03 in G Block at the Port Macquarie Campus. Students currently studying at the Centre will be available at the launch for interviews and photography. Media representatives will have access to the Centre for photography purposes as well.

The Centre is accredited as an internationally recognized ELICOS (English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students) centre, so that students can study English for periods from 5 weeks to a year depending on their skills levels. Students develop English speaking, listening, reading and writing skills while learning about the local area, Australian culture and lifestyle.
