Thursday 2 November 2006
For several years now TAFE NSW – North Coast Institute, Lismore Campus has been offering a range of video production courses that have been completed by people from many different areas of study.
On the evening of Thursday the 2nd of November at the Star Court Theatre, Lismore Campus presents a best of screening of some of the many short films and video productions produced over the last four years entitled – VIDIUALITY.
The VIDIUALITY program includes short films, documentaries, and other film related projects made by TAFE students over the last four years of video courses.
The video productions have been created by students from several different TAFE courses including - Media and Performance, Digital Media, Theatre Performance and Practice, CGVE Video Production and FAVE Video Production.
Teacher, Rohan Langford, says that this is a rare opportunity for the Northern Rivers community to experience the wealth of creative talent that is being developed in one of the area’s major creative learning centres, Lismore Campus.
“The evening opens with a special guest show of live film and music making performance by cutting edge local Video/Audio performance art group CINEMARTYR,” says Mr Langford. “So people can treat themselves to a night of great shorts and support the creativity of local up and coming Northern Rivers film makers”.
