Wauchope student art exhibited at TAFE campus

Students of Cert IV in Fine Arts at Wauchope Campus are staging an extensive exhibition of this year’s work, which includes paintings, drawings, photographs, prints and sculpture.

Teacher Jacqueline Beckhurst says that the exhibition is a ‘must-see’ for the Wauchope community.

'These are highly talented students, working in a very creative community,' Ms Beckhurst said. 'I know that people will get a lot out of the exhibition.'

Ms Beckhurst said that also on display will be some examples of mosaic work which students of Aboriginal Art have been working on as part of the Koree Island Public Art project.

The exhibition, entitled “Between the Lines” opens on Tuesday December 5 at 5pm, and is open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.

People can also view the exhibition between 9.30 am -3.30 pm from Wednesday December 6 to Friday December 8 at the Campus.
