Kids in Harmony

TAFE NSW-North Coast Institute’s Coffs Harbour Campus and Urunga Public School joined forces to celebrate Harmony Day on 21 March 2007.

TAFE students studying their Diploma in Child and Family Services at Coffs Harbour  volunteered their time to organise a range of free, creative activities on the day to help children of all ages celebrate “Living in Harmony”.

The children and community members shared a Community Breakfast consisting of sausage and egg sandwiches, juice, tea and coffee and fruit, with much of the food being donated by local businesses in the spirit of a community in harmony.

Harmony Day is the day we celebrate Australia's success as a diverse society united by a common set of values.
