'META IV' Exhibition Opens

Friday 9 November 2007
An exciting new exhibition, “META IV”, by students studying in the Certificate IV in Visual Arts and Contemporary Crafts, marks the end of their year of study at TAFE NSW-North Coast Institute’s Murwillumbah Campus.  The Campus’ Arts & Media section helps foster a growing local arts community by delivering fully accredited arts and media courses throughout the year, and this exhibition showcases the creativity and hard work of the Certificate IV students.

The students will exhibit work across all media areas, including painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking and drawing.

“I have thoroughly enjoyed watching the journey of these students as they find their art voice” says painting teacher and well respected local artist, Linelle Stepto.

The Arts & Media Section invites the public and the local art community and any prospective students, to attend the show, see first hand what is on offer and enjoy their local TAFE Campus.  Light refreshments will be provided.

The exhibition opening will be from 6pm to 8pm on Friday 30th November, and the exhibition will remain open to the public between 9am to 1pm, Monday 3rd until Thursday 6th December.  The exhibition will be held in the Painting Studio, Room AB22 on the basement level of the Murwillumbah Campus.  Entry is via the car park in Proudfoots Lane.
