On Your Mark

‘On Your Mark’ is a shared exhibition of selected 2007 artworks by students of Fine Art, Visual Art and Aboriginal Art Programs from TAFE NSW – North Coast Institute’s Great Lakes Art and Design School. 

The gallery will be alive with paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, digital images and sculpture presenting a diversity of scale, media and techniques. 

“The exhibition will celebrate and showcase the talents and achievements of all our students”, says Head Teacher Steve Williams.

“We are looking forward to a shared exhibition experience and creating an atmosphere of celebration and achievement at a premier end of year show.

“The collection of works is guaranteed to stimulate the senses and our students are eager to share their creative pieces and their TAFE learning journey”, says Mr Williams.

The exhibition will be officially opened by Alison Page of Jalay Design and presenter on ABC’s New Inventors program at 6:30 pm, Friday 23 November with light refreshments and live music.

GALLERY CORRIDOR is situated at L Block of the Great Lakes Campus, The Northern Parkway Tuncurry, entry is free and many of the artworks are for sale. Daily viewing is from Monday – Friday between 9am – 3pm.  ‘On Your Mark’ concludes Wednesday December 5.
