Online Service Desk

The Online Service Desk is available to enable students enrolled in online courses to contact support staff to assist with any problems or questions related to their course.

This service operates between the hours of 8.30am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Outside these hours an answering service is in operation.

When you contact the Service Desk a call is logged in the TAFE NSW Service Desk System, a comprehensive computerised system for logging, monitoring and resolving computer related problems throughout TAFE NSW, to help maintain a record of problems received by our Online students.

In most cases your problem or question will be addressed at the initial contact. For all other problems further information will be obtained from a teacher, technical support officer or other source and you will be advised of the outcome. All calls received are monitored closely to ensure they are resolved promptly.

To help your calls to be actioned as quickly as possible please be sure to provide the Helpdesk with the following information:

Full name
Contact telephone numbers
Appropriate times the Helpdesk may contact them
Course name and number
Course teacher
Description of problem
Any action taken to investigate the problem

Students enrolled in an online course may contact the Online Service Desk by telephoning 1800 888 233, or by completing the form on the right (select only one of the two icons) and returning via email or fax.
