How to apply?
The TVET Expression of Interest form must be completed and signed by the student, the parent/caregiver and the school before being forwarded to the School Careers Advisor or VET for Schools coordinator. Complete this form carefully as it is used to select students for courses
When to apply?
Applications open in Term 3 and close at the end of Term 3, 2009. Schools will be notified in term IV of successful applications. The school will be notifed of any classes that have insufficient numbers to run and the student will be able to select another course.
Successful students will receive a confirmation letter in January 2010 confirming when date and times of TVET classes commence in 2010.

Criteria for Selection
If there are more students than there are places in a course, students will be selected by demonstrating:
- a level of ability which indicates a capacity to succeed in the course.
- the ability to study in an adult learning environment
- an interest in the course and related careers
- a commitment to complete projects
- a good school attendance record
