What's in it for me?

Can I count a TVET course towards my UAI?

Students who undertake a 240 hour Industry Curriculum Framework (ICF) course have the option of sitting a High School Certificate exam. If you choose to sit the exam, you are able to count the exam result towards the calculation of your University Admissions Index (UAI). You are only allowed to count one VET course as a part of your UAI.

The results from the two year Accounting course can also be counted towards the UAI.

Will you get a TAFE certificate at the end of the course?

After completing the TVET course, you may receive two sets of credentials.

1. TVET course will be included on your HSC certificate, if you meet the Board of Studies HSC requirements.
2. If you meet the TAFE requirements you will receive either an Academic Transcript or a Certificate from NSW TAFE.
